    Cruising;

We follow two journeys which highlight the navigation and other problems of the mid 1960s, when trying to reach places which were not on the few canals where some commercial traffic still operated. These cruises were from Oldbury, near Birmingham to Disley, Cheshire on the upper Peak Forest Canal and from Disley to and from the Stratford-on-Avon Canal re-opening Festival in 1964.
